   This quote from Aldous Huxley states that everything that is and isn't foots itself on the perception of the observer. Some doors are locked, longing for their everchanging key; waiting to be unlocked. Our perception is the key element of how we see and interpret our everyday life. It is an accumulation that harbors both the experiences of the past and the wonders of future.

   The Departments of American Culture and Literature and English Language and Literature warmly present the 11th International Undergraduate Symposium (IUS) titled ''Perception'' to explore different modes of perception in literature, culture, arts and life.
